The corporate object of BARLOVENTO RECURSOS NATURALES S.L. is the provision of consultancy and other services in the field of renewable energy, for the most part carrying out its work in the area of wind energy.
Geographically the area involved does not only include Spain, but also, in accordance with the internationalisation of wind power by Spanish companies, a growing amount of business is carried out abroad.
BARLOVENTO has acted an independent technical assessor in wind power projects with a capacity of 4000 MW either on-line or at construction phase, in addition to many more at project phase.
BARLOVENTO has received accreditation as a Testing Laboratory in accordance with the UNE-EN ISO/IEC 17025 standard, for the carrying out of wind turbine generator Power Curve Tests. In addition, BARLOVENTO has become a member of MEASNET, an international organisation which the most prestigious wind energy investigation centres belong to, after having exceeded all the technical requirements that the organisation demands. Membership of MEASNET means the guaranteeing of the highest quality in the tests that are undertaken, and that the methods used and results obtained by BARLOVENTO are accepted at international level.
