The Spanish Solar Industry Conference CIS-ES 2009 will be held in Madrid, October 1st and 2nd. There, the presentation of the paper “TECHNICAL ASPECTS OF FINANCING PV” wiill take place.

Wind Expo 2009

Barlovento will be present in the next edition of the fair Wind Expo 2009 which will be held in Panama City between the 2nd and the 4th of September, organized by LAWEA. Both staff from Barlovento Recursos Naturales and Barlovento Renovables Latinoamérica will be there. Besides we will participate in the conferences that will take place in parallel to the fair, in session 5 (Resource Assessment) and session 10 (Projects Financing)

Meteodyn WT

Barlovento Renovables Latinoamérica is the official distributor of Meteodyn WT, the software for the evaluation of wind fields, and other products of Meteodyn in Latin America. Meteodyn software is specially oriented towards the calculation of wind fields in complex terrains and allows evaluating, not only the average characteristics of speed, but also the turbulence of the sites. There are other products, such as Urbawind, used for the wind modelling in urban sites, with applications for the implementation of wind energy in urban areas, climate comfort or pollution studies.

Barlovento Solar will atend Intersolar Munich Fair (27-29 May), the biggest international exhibition in solar energy. Our stand is B6.250 withtin the joint ICEX participation. Barlovento Renovables Latinoamérica

From March 2009, to attend to our customers in Latin America, we have established an office in Lima (Peru). This office will reinforce our presence in the region, rendering services in the development of wind and solar projects: measurement campaigns, resource, engineering and grid studies, technical assistance on site, etc.

Accredited Measurement Campaign

Recently we have obtained the accreditation from ENAC for the development of measurement meteorological campaigns in accordance with the standard UNE 500520:2002. The accreditation guarantees the highest quality of the measurements, as well as their processing, what means a reduction on the projects uncertainties.
