The power curve relates electrical energy produced by the wind turbine generator to wind speed. In this way, it is possible to determine annual forecast production and project profitability for any given wind conditions.
Verification of the power curve allows us to see whether a wind turbine generator functions in accordance with its specifications. In this way, failures due to the way the turbine functions can be distinguished from other possible causes of deviation.
BARLOVENTO carries out the complete measurement of the power curve for any type of wind turbine generator.
BARLOVENTO has received accreditation as a Testing Laboratory in accordance with the UNE-EN ISO/IEC 17025 standard, for the carrying out of wind turbine generator Power Curve Tests. In addition, BARLOVENTO has become a member of MEASNET, after having exceeded all the technical requirements that the organisation demands. Membership of MEASNET means the guaranteeing of the highest quality in the tests that are undertaken, and that the methods used and results obtained by BARLOVENTO are accepted at international level.
